Golf, Games and a Swear Box Boost Balreed’s Donation Fund
MAIDSTONE, March 23rd – Balreed did something funny for money on Friday March 18th as staff pulled together to raise cash for Comic Relief.
Red Nose Day 2011 was celebrated by everyone at the
digital print providers regional offices as staff swapped suites for wigs and enjoyed homemade food and an array of games.
Dressed in red, staff participated in quizzes such as ‘Guess the Baby’ and ‘Beat the Intro’ as well as sampling one another’s home-cooked culinary delights in order to raise money. A particularly profitable effort was made by the Balreed Swear Box which saw staff coughing up cash with each passing curse.
Meanwhile Balreed’s golf-lovers enjoyed the first ever Balreed Artisans Golf Society event at The London Golf Club. A series of random fines were distributed to participants in order to raise even more cash for the cause. Players found themselves handing over donations for “offences” such a being the biggest know-it-all and wearing a matching shirt and trousers.
Collectively Balreed staff raised an impressive £1000.
