Balreed Back "Best Ever" Pro-Am Golf Tournament

MAIDSTONE, July 26th – Balreed Bristol are to be the headline sponsor for what is being billed as the “best ever” pro-am golf tournament by organiser and host The Bristol Golf Club.

Due to go ahead on Wednesday 14th September at the Almondsbury-based golf club, the tournament will be open to both members and non-members with 75 amateur and 25 professional golfers in attendance.

Balreed Bristol will be offering the event their full support as the main sponsor. Balreed’s General Manager Sammy Stewart said: “We support many businesses across the South West from our offices in Bristol and this is a great opportunity for us to get involved in what will be a fantastic event for the region.”

Teams will consist of four players, three amateurs and one professional player. The day will begin with a light lunch for all players before the competition gets underway, and conclude with an evening dinner.

Andrew Etherington, Head Golf Professional at The Bristol Golf Club, said: “We are looking forward to a busy and competitive event, and will make sure we turn a blind eye to any on-course coaching on the day!”
